FAQ

How safe is Namibia?

02.

Who will I share a room with?

01.

Namibia is one of the safest countries in africa. Nevertheless, you shouldn't be careless with valuables. Don't wear valuable jewellery and don't leave anything visible in the car. Besides these sensible guidelines, which apply for every big city, we know you’ll feel very comfortable on the streets of Windhoek.

We will assign roommates staying in double rooms to the best of our ability. Women together in one room and men together in one room. Of course couples can share a room. During the coliving you are able to swap rooms if you would like.

03.

04.

How is the deposit and cancellation policy?

There are no particular vaccinations required to enter Namibia. Nevertheless, it is advisable to consult your doctor. The only part of Namibia with malaria is the north. Windhoek and our planned destinations on the weekend getaways are not malaria areas.

Please have a look at our general cancellation policies and COVID-19 cancellation policies here.

06.

Do I need a visa?

You will receive a visa on arrival at the airport, it will be a three-month tourist visa.

I don't call myself a remote worker or digital nomad. Can I still join?

05.

Even if you are not a digital nomad who regularly travels around the world, you can take part in our coliving. You might have a permanent residence, but would like to work from somewhere else for a while to experience something new. If that’s you, then we warmly welcome you!

07.

Do we have to book excursions?

It is up to you to decide on taking part in weekend excursions or not. You can also book these at short notice during the coliving - if there is space available.
